The remote controlled fog/jet monitor FJM-100 EL/S/MV series are intended for fixed installation. They have excellent operating properties, designed for an optimal delivery of foam or water on full jet or fog.

 The monitor is suitable for marine and land based applications with excellent performance and reliability. Only first class materials such as stainless steel and bronze, finished with a red two pack paint, are used in this heavy-duty design. Character-istic features are, full electric remote control of the horizontal and vertical orientation, optional remote control of fog/jet nozzle, manual override, low weight.

A monitor can be divided into three parts, monitor body with motors (the turret), branch pipe with fog / jet nozzle and the junction box.

The monitor turret has two rotating ball bearings, one for elevation and one for rotation. The bearing for rotation is flanged at its lower side. This flange connects to the standpipe and can be specified according to various standards such as ANSI or DIN. The electric junction box contains terminals, which are related to the control of the electric motors (refer to wiring diagrams).

Two motors, one for elevation and one for rotation drive the monitor. Each motor is equipped with a gear, which in turn drives the corresponding part on the monitor. Rotation movement is 175° and elevation movement +70°/-70°. The monitor is equipped with emergency manual override controls,
